Forest Ridge School District 142 will be participating in the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Program Seamless Summer Option (SSO) for all students enrolled in District 142 schools.

As part of Forest Ridge School District 142's annual lawn care program, a contractor will be applying weed control chemicals to the turf areas at each school on Monday, July 26, 2021.

On June 15, the Forest Ridge School District 142 Board of Education announced Dr. Kristine L. Roth as the next Superintendent of Schools.

In past years the district would have recognized our retirees during our annual end of year celebration.

The District is now accepting new student registration for the 2021-2022 school year.

As you know, the Board of Education is engaged in the process of selecting the district’s next superintendent. The Board has enlisted the services of IASB’s (Illinois Association of School Board) Executive Search team to assist with this important work. The Board will interview a slate of candidates on Monday, May 17 and Tuesday, May 18, and from those interviews, the candidate pool will be narrowed to two or three semifinalists.
